Still Winter in Colorado…

Today’s scheduled game between the Tucson Padres and Colorado Springs Sky Sox was weather postponed due to cold, “unplayable” conditions in Colorado Springs.  It will be played as part of a double-header when Tucson returns to the Springs on June 27th.  The teams still plan to play a double-header (two seven-inning games, beginning at 10:05am Tucson local time) tomorrow, April 11th, to make up the game that was postponed yesterday.  The games tomorrow will be broadcast live on 1290AM The Source and on the Tucson Padres website.

Do you have your tickets for Friday’s home opener yet?  The boys will be home THIS Friday!  Make your plans now to attend the final season home opener at Kino Stadium Friday, April 12th.  The Pads will face the Fresno Grizzlies (AAA affiliate of the San Francisco Giants), with first pitch scheduled for 7:05pm.  Not only will there be the usual Opening Night festivities, but the first 2,500 fans through the gate with paid admission will also receive a free 2013 Tucson Padres schedule magnet!  Tons of exciting events in the first homestand, fans – check them out here. I hope to see you at Kino Stadium for Opening Night!
